Music by Valiska
I commissioned local musician Valiska for a piece of music to work with. I absolutely love his music and just wanted to animate to it. I admittedly had a set vision in my mind of what I was going to create, but when I heard the music I went with a different direction. There was this wonderful dreamlike disjointedness in the music I wanted to capture. Something like a memory that has a few parts that hint at a story, but it isn't quite complete.
I really enjoyed building this ambigious architectural/monument shapes.
There is some movement here where I was trying to emulate a first-person shooter.
I think this is one of the first pieces where I tried to care about a colour palette.
